Experience
Rick is an Australian and keen beer drinker. He's lived in places around the world including Japan, Ireland and Canada and likes to write about beers from an international perspective.
He is a fan of trying new pale ales, IPAs and XPAs whenever he can.
Education
Rick has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Melbourne, which is where he developed his love for beer.
He likes to take the analytical approach honed in his engineering studies, combining it with his experience as a journalist for more than 20 years, to produce factual and entertaining articles on the global beer scene.
He's recruited beer judge and Andy Sparhawk (the former editor-in-chief of Craftbeer.com) to provide the real beer expertise for The Beer Babe and you'll find plenty of Andy's work on the site.
