Yuengling is a much loved brewer from Pennsylvania that makes the flagship Yuengling Traditional Lager (often just called Yuengling Lager) among a host of other beers.

Yeungling trades off its reputation as a classic beer steeped in history and known for its relatively robust (well, compared to Budweiser, Busch and Coors anyway) flavor.

But how many calories are there in Yuengling Lager? And in the 12 other beers brewed by Yuengling?

The short answer is Yuengling Lager has 141 calories per 12oz bottle or can and 12 grams of carbs.

Read on to learn more about the nutritional details of the full range of Yuengling beers.

Yuengling Traditional Lager is an amber ale. In terms of calories and carbohydrates it is fairly typical of American medium bodied lagers with 141 calories and 12g of carbs (see here for a breakdown of the calories in the top 50 US beers)

Yuengling Traditional Lager is brewed from caramel malts, cascade and cluster hops, water and corn grits.

The addition of corn makes this an adjunct lager, while the caramel malts contribute to the beer’s amber color and more full bodied flavor.
